Sentiments from a loving wife and business partner

So I rarely (ok, never) post on our blog.  Everything you read is written by my very creative husband and partner in crime.  However, after catching up on some reading at one of my favorite blogs, Brains on Fire, I felt compelled to let you all in on what I believe is a very important detail about Jason.  

If you know Jason (at all) you may know that he’s pretty passionate about coffee, and about Evoke. He lives and breathes it every day.

He is marked by his passion. 

The cool thing is that because of the nature of the product we work with Jason is figuratively and literally marked. Check any baristas hands and you can see the markings of their passion.  Perfectly ground espresso in the crevasses of their hands and under their nails.  Just as a chef, writer, painter or craftsman can be identified by the remnants of a job well done, so too is Jason.

That’s what coffee is to my husband - an integral part of his identity, inseparable.  And I wouldn’t have it any other way!
